We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Professional to join our team at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories. As an EHS Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs that meet federal, state, and local regulations.
- Own and maintain programs to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
- Counsel management and employees on safety management programs and practices.
- Respond to customer inquiries and incidents.
- Participate in internal audits and compliance inspections.
- Perform EH&S review/approval as part of the Management of Change process.
- Partner with site safety committee on active hazard control and accident prevention programs.
- Bachelor's Degree in a EH&S related field or Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of EH&S related experience.
- Professional certification, such as Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), etc.
- Experience with multiple EH&S programs.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent writing, grammar, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively within a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- EH&S experience in electronics manufacturing environment.
- ISO 45001 and/or 14001 internal auditor experience.
Able to walk and stand for extended periods, climb stairs unassisted and lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
