Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Materials Planner to join our team at Wabtec Corporation. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate production schedules and inventory plans to meet customer demand
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks and optimize material flow
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, lead times, and other key performance indicators to inform planning decisions
  • Lead lean and digitalization projects to improve safety, quality, and efficiency in our supply chain operations
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic business decisions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in materials planning, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and drive business outcomes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Green Belt Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of EHS, Quality, Ergonomics, VSM, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Supply Chain principles
