Job Description:
As a Cloud Solutions Expert at Oracle, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's technology direction for key areas. Your expertise across the stack & tiers (MW and OCI) will be essential in creating and managing business solutions using Oracle technology.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Set overall technology direction for key areas to invest resources in
- Build internal expertise and leverage knowledge within the Support organization
- Resolve and help guide resolution of multiple highly difficult and complex problems and escalations involving several product areas
- Provide consultation to senior technical advisors on projects, reviewing their work and advising areas for self-advancement
- Presenting Oracle solutions and architectures in front of customers and stakeholders
- Demonstrate the value of our cloud products, architectures, and new technologies
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) for Managed Cloud Services standards on OCI, and provide to Customer definitions of standards and best practices
- Respond to Customer questions regarding the standards documents
- Assist Customer with the design of an architecture that supports the deployment of the Oracle PaaS and/or IaaS Services that conform to Oracle standards
- Assist Customer with sizing and capacity analysis and decisions related to selection of architecture components
- Review the Architecture and validate that it conforms to Oracle standards
- Act as the technical authority and escalation point for OCI technical issues and decisions
- Advise/assist on potential and emerging technologies to support innovation
- Recommend new services to complement and enhance OCI architecture designed to streamline and support applications development and deployment
- Work with Customer to review planned updates, define the associated deployment of OCI and identify associated phases of work
- Help Customer understand the technical and cost impact of any changes, including contractual changes, as required
- Create artifacts and documentation to explain architecture design concepts and solutions to various levels of management and stakeholders
- Assist Customer on OCI aspects of integration architecture
Requirements:
- OCI Certifications
- Required experience with any of the following Cloud Services and Products: OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), SOACS, MFT, ODI, OIC, JCS, DBCS, OSB, WLS
- Career Level - IC5

- Strong expertise across the stack & tiers (MW and OCI)
- Focused on creating and managing business solutions using Oracle technology
- Ability to resolve and help guide resolution of multiple highly difficult and complex problems and escalations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
