Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Development Engineer to join our team at Siemens. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new products and product lines, including design, prototyping, and testing
  • Manage the product lifecycle, including product planning, development, and launch
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance
  • Develop and maintain product specifications, documentation, and technical requirements
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies
  • Identify and implement cost savings and product improvement initiatives
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and other departments as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or product development
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in product development, engineering, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of product development processes, including design, prototyping, and testing
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
  • Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as UL and ISO
  • Fluency in multiple languages, including English and Spanish
