PMC MANAGER

Description:
At Hcp Packaging Mexico, S. De R.L. De C.V., we are seeking a highly skilled Product Supply Chain Manager to oversee our company's planning, inventory, and purchasing operations. This key role will collaborate with engineers and designers to determine the materials needed to complete manufacturing or construction projects according to specifications, research vendors for those materials, and order them. The successful candidate will monitor our department's inventory and production schedule, maintaining an optimally efficient inventory of production materials. Additionally, they will create planning studies and generate reports about new programs, plans, and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

• Oversee production planners to prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay to customer orders.

• Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand to comply with customer orders.

• Develop production schedules based on demand forecasts to meet customer requirements.

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure that adequate materials are available, and develop relationships with new suppliers as needed.

• Communicate with other departments within the organization regarding production schedules and deadlines.

• Monitor inventory levels and adjust production accordingly to avoid overproduction.

• Interpret and implement company policies regarding production scheduling to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

• Review production schedules and labor forecasts to determine whether additional staff will be required during certain times of the year.

• Oversee records of materials used during production to ensure efficient use of resources and to identify waste or loss.

• Coordinate the purchase of raw materials for products from suppliers based on inventory levels, price fluctuations, and other factors.

• Coordinate with the shipping department to arrange for delivery of finished products to customers.

• Hires and trains new staff while planning and coordinating the work of purchasing agents and Planners.

• Evaluate suppliers on the basis of delivery speed for their products and services, price, and quality.

• Interview vendors and visit supplier distribution centers and plants to examine and learn about prices, products, and services.

• Analyze financial reports, price proposals, and other information used to determine reasonable pricing.

• Negotiate contracts for the organization and work out agreements with suppliers for product delivery.

• Meet with vendors and staff to discuss unacceptable and defective products and establish corrective action.

• Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure suppliers and vendors are complying with terms and conditions.

• Maintain and review records of inventories, product performance, deliveries, costs, and items purchased.

**Qualifications**:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or any other related field.

• Master's degree in a related field (desirable).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• 100% bilingual English/Spanish.

• Experience and knowledge in supply chain processes.

• Strong skill for planning production.

• Office: Excel, Word.

• ERP system.
