Strategic Financial Planner for Latin America and the Caribbean

By providing access to formal markets, entrepreneurial training, and agtech tools, Acceso enables farmers to improve their livelihoods and contribute to the economic growth of their communities. With a strong presence in Colombia, Haiti, El Salvador, Mexico, and Guatemala, Acceso has impacted nearly 35,000 farmers, generating over $80 million in income to date.

About the Role:
The Director, Financial Planning and Analysis will play a key strategic and tactical advisor to Acceso's CEO, CFO, and LT, driving informed decision-making and maximizing the organization's capacity to grow revenues and deliver impact. This role requires a seasoned financial expert with international experience, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of building and implementing strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Design:
    • Develop and implement Acceso's mid-term strategy and deliverables, including country-level mid-term and yearly strategies, and project-focused strategies and deliverables.
    • Provide strategic and tactical guidance at global, country, and project levels, ensuring the organization's financial targets are efficiently set and monitored.
  • Data Analysis and Forecasting:
    • Assist the CEO and CFO in improving and updating Acceso's mid and long-term financial forecasts.
    • Oversee annual country-level forecasting and reforecasting, including integrating all earned, restricted, and unrestricted funding sources, activities, and expenses.
  • Consolidation and Reporting:
    • Consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, gathering information from multiple country finance teams and conducting spot checks on country financials.
  • Support to the CFO:
    • Support the CFO in managing the debt portfolio, including managing deadlines and reports to be submitted to lenders, tracking interest accruals, and maintaining the loan tracking database.
  • Support to the CEO and CFO:
    • Support the CEO and CFO in the annual budgeting process, creating and providing templates, consolidating information gathered from teams, and creating dashboards and other visual support for analysis.

Qualifications:

  • BS or BA in Business Administration or other relevant field.
  • Master's Degree in Finance or related fields.
  • 10+ years of financial analysis, consulting, and strategic planning experience, including 5+ years as a member of a senior leadership team or serving as a proactive and collaborative business partner to CEOs and/or CFOs.
  • Management experience with international teams and complex projects, ideally in agriculture and food systems.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish, Haitian Creole or French a plus.
