Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

Eaton's IS VEH Power Connections division is seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Carol Stream, IL facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of finished goods, while maintaining accurate inventory levels and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the activities of shipping, receiving, and material handling employees to ensure seamless operations
  • Develop and implement processes to achieve a zero-incident culture, maximize output, and reduce costs
  • Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes to meet DOH and excess & obsolete management targets
  • Supervise personnel responsible for coordinating logistics, including scheduling trucks based on product specifications and location requirements
  • Assist in maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork to achieve department and plant goals
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and direct team members
  • Ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Knowledge of materials management best practices and ability to implement them in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer:
  • A competitive annual salary range of $91,000 to $134,200.04
  • A variable incentive program to recognize and reward outstanding performance
