Key Responsibilities:
- Meet the requirements of a Senior Engineer.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a field of competency.
- Represent Jabil Engineering Services in technical customer discussions and meetings.
- Work with the Project Manager Engineering Services in the quoting process.
- Provide technical input to identify and solve project risks that may affect overall project plans and schedules.
- Support the development and utilization of processes for design and Value Added Engineering (VAVE).
- Drive the delivery of a complete design package to be entered into the Product Data Management (PDM) system.
- Lead all elements of design and VAVE engineering, including design reviews, design verification, and implementation.
- Mentor Senior Engineers and below.
- Provide onsite technical support for manufacturing builds, including engineering prototypes, New Product Introduction (NPI), and production releases.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology and techniques to provide competitive and cost-effective designs.
- Support management in identifying internal and external resources to support product development and analysis.
Requirements:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
