The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in maintaining our relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met through effective communication and coordination of freight and truck movements. As the primary point of contact, the CSR guarantees quality order entry, appointment making, relationship establishment, issue resolution, and business level monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

- The CSR will maintain open communication with assigned customers, including order acceptance, tracing, claim awareness, cost recovery, trailer pool management, and solving ad-hoc requests.
- This involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide consistent service delivery and add value to the client's relationship with Bison USA.

Operations and Scheduling:

- The CSR collaborates with planning personnel to maximize equipment utilization while meeting targeted customer service levels.
- By working proactively with clients and shippers/consignees, the CSR ensures scheduling meets the needs of both parties and maximizes Bison USA's operations.

Relationship Building and Level of Service:

- The CSR fosters strong relationships with client personnel requiring day-to-day service from our company.
- To ensure high-level service, the CSR must understand and report the required level of service for each shipment and overall business.

Order Entry and Tracing:

- The CSR enters designated orders for the assigned region, confirming all details are complete for dispatch.
- The CSR updates customers on shipment status as requested and produces regular reports for selected accounts.

Appointment Making and Other Responsibilities:

- The CSR secures and updates shipping and delivery appointments within the prescribed lead time.
- In addition to handling customer inquiries efficiently, the CSR may be involved in other projects and initiatives as necessary, demonstrating professionalism and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service
- Strong PC skills (Windows, MS Office Suite)
- Ability to work in a multi-task environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Conflict Resolution
- Strong interpersonal skills

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
