**This Role**

As a Collections Analyst, you will serve as the primary internal Collections strategic and analytic resource, working closely with country managers and finance teams. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing and interpreting data sets related to the collections process and portfolio segmentation
  • Making business recommendations based on data analysis
  • Integrating different data sources to draw overall conclusions
  • Driving operational efficiencies based on data
  • Automating and simplifying collections processes to minimize invested time and human errors
  • Preparing and delivering program status updates and presentations to internal stakeholders and the executive leadership team
  • Applying a technical mindset to identify operational drivers
  • Applying best collections practices
  • Specializing in portfolio segmentation and statistical analysis for collections
  • Developing reports in Mode, monitoring results, and integrating databases to compare results between countries, agencies, and experiments
  • Proposing new strategies and experiments based on experience and initiative
  • Measuring the impact of unit economics using existing data

**Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Actuary, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or Statistics
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience working in Collections or Data departments in a medium financial institution
  • Exposure to collections tools
  • Great top-down communication skills
  • Advanced English (written and spoken)
  • Advanced knowledge in using tools to manage big sources of data and visualization, such as SQL, Snowflake, and PowerBI
  • Knowledge of CRM tools for Collections
