Job Description

International Trade Operations Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned International Trade Operations Specialist to oversee import and export operations, ensuring seamless compliance with customs regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in customs processes, coordinating carriers, customs brokers, and agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise import and export operations, guaranteeing adherence to customs regulations.
  • Coordinate with carriers, customs agents, and brokers to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments.
  • Manage Annex 24 and 31, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring compliance.
  • Oversee customs clearances, ensuring efficient and smooth transactions.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for managing virtual import and export operations.
  • Control temporary inventories under the FIFO system, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with government agencies to ensure customs compliance, utilizing ERP's and import/export systems (LIA, ERPs).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in customs or international trade.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced English language skills (80% written, spoken, and read).
  • U.S. visa (mandatory).
  • Availability to travel and own a vehicle.

Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
