Job Summary

Arrow Electronics, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Asset Associate to join our team. As an Asset Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of our inventory, forecasting, and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels, fulfilling open sales orders, and conducting regular inventory reviews.
  • Forecast product demand and manage product life cycles to ensure timely and accurate ordering.
  • Place initial purchase orders and monitor inventory levels to adjust or cancel orders as needed.
  • Resolve sales and supplier-related issues, negotiate special returns, and expedite factory purchase orders to meet customer demands.
  • Match open orders to customer backlogs and make requested schedule changes.
  • Maintain manual bonds for non-e-commerce accounts and send requests for corporate allocations for backlog and expedited orders.
  • Manage consignment billings and ensure timely shipment of released orders.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a 4-year degree and 3-4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel.
  • Knowledge of the IBM AS400 is a plus.
