Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ETO Tools Developer to join our team in Apodaca, N.L. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Engineer to Order (ETO) tools, providing technical support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize ETO tools to streamline engineering workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot issues, and offer timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to identify opportunities for tool enhancement and optimization.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of ETO tools with existing systems and platforms.
  • Generate necessary support documentation that could help transition tickets within scope to the service desk level.
  • Contribute to the documentation and training materials for ETO tools to ensure effective user adoption.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in software development, preferably with a focus on ETO tools or custom engineering applications.
  • Proficiency in the following programming languages and familiarity with CAD/PLM systems:
    • AutoCAD ARX
    • RealDWG
    • VB.NET
    • Java
    • C#
    • C++
    • COM Interfaces
    • T-SQL
  • Experience in the following applications will be a plus:
    • GitHub
    • Windchill
    • Creo Parametric
    • Smart Assembly
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11 64 bit, Windows Server bit, Windows Server and 64 bit, Windows Server 2016.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
  • Good level of technical proficiency in English.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of common software development practices.
  • Strong knowledge of UI and UX best practices.
  • Strong code analysis skills.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot data and control flows and interaction between applications by reviewing source code.
  • Willingness to adopt coding practices defined by Digital Engineering.
  • Understanding and commitment to secure programming best practices.
  • Ability to research and implement vendor APIs and web methods.
