We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Baker Hughes Company. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing wellheads and Christmas tree equipment for the Oil and Gas industry.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop wellheads and Christmas tree equipment using sound engineering principles and industry standards.
- Execute projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and technical reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, applying new knowledge and technologies to improve design and development processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using API 6A standard.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, strength of materials, and materials science.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Pro-E/CREO, AutoCAD), simulation tools (ANSYS, others), and math calculations software (Mathcad, others).
- Familiarity with PLM software, preferably Teamcenter.
