Job Description

The Payroll Specialist role is a critical position within the organization, responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain employee and payroll records, reviewing and auditing timekeeping records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Process new hires, terminations, and salary changes, computing wage and overtime calculations, and calculating payroll deductions.
  • Facilitate the timely and accurate processing of multi-state and bi-weekly payroll, establishing procedures to maintain business process documentation.
  • Perform payroll projects and other related human resources tasks as needed.
Work Environment:

This role requires a strong working knowledge of attendance and payroll database systems, with the ability to focus on details and demonstrate accuracy in work.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required; at least three to four years of experience in Mexico payroll processing, tax compliance, and regulation, or related experience.
  • Knowledgeable of all Mexico federal and state laws concerning payroll, overtime, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of garnishment laws and processing.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
