Job Summary:
LHR Américas is seeking a seasoned Business System Analyst - Financial Data Scientist to join our Digital Solutions & Data Management Division of the Digital Finance Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for championing the identification, evaluation, design, coordination, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) centric solutions in the Finance organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop, and Implement AI-Powered Solutions: Automate manual tasks, optimize processes, and enhance data-driven decision-making in Financial Accounting, Treasury, Performance Management, and Investor Relations.
- Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver impactful solutions. Assess requirements related to Finance AI use cases; Perform option evaluation; Provide support for implementation.
- Develop and Maintain Machine Learning Models: For tasks such as financial forecasting, fraud detection, anomaly detection, risk assessment, and investor sentiment analysis.
- Data Preparation and Analysis: Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and prepare it for modeling.
- Stay Up-to-Date with AI Advancements: Identify potential applications for the finance function and propose relevant pilot projects.
- Effective Communication: Communicate technical concepts and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional initiatives to integrate AI and data science into broader business transformation efforts.
- Process Documentation and Transformation: Organize and facilitate workshops with different users and consultants to document processes and drive transformation.
- Delivery and Execution: Lead the delivery and execution of key digital initiatives. Participate in solutions development through projects and programs, collaborating with business and technology groups.
- Digital Solution Maintenance: Maintain, support, and optimize digital solutions.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or IT from a recognized and approved program.
- Advanced Degree and Certification: Possession of an advanced business degree (e.g. MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g. CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred but not required.
- Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and other related advanced analytics implementation of financial systems.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in Python programming languages and libraries such as NumPy, pandas, sci-kit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is required. UI programming, such as React, is required. Skills to leverage Google Cloud or Azure Cloud for advanced analytics is desirable.
- Project Experience: Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the various aspects of implementing AI systems in Finance including articulation and measurement of benefits, evaluation of technical and execution options, critical success factors, and project risks.
- Soft Skills: Ability to get involved in hands-on technical solution management is preferred.
Benefits:
- Monthly Base Salary: Aligned with company employees with similar skills.
- Monthly Overbase: 25% of your monthly base salary.
- Benefits Supplement: 20% of your monthly base salary, after 3 years of service, reward increases to 25% of base, after 6 years 30% of base, and after 12 years 35% of base.
- Severance Package: 2-year vest period - year 2 to 5: 2 week's pay for each year of service, Year 6+: 4 week's pay for each year after.
- Employment Tax: If employee chooses to separate themselves from their 'home country' for income tax purposes, most will not be required to pay 'home country' income taxes; company will not report income to the 'home country' governments. Please check with your tax advisor for specifics relating to you.
- Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP): Eligible after 12 months of service - maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay with a cap, 20% share discount.
- Incentive Plan: Annual; based on performance, approx. 1.8x monthly base salary.
- Travel Allowance: Annual; approx. $8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old.
- Vacation & Paid Holidays: 38 vacation days / 4 travel days / 11-13 paid holidays.
- Medical/Dental Plan: Complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care/facilities for employee and eligible family members. In-Kingdom dental services subsidized.
- Educational Assistance Plan (EAP): Out of Kingdom Assistance: 90% of expenses with a maximum per child, lesser of 5x monthly base salary or the company max ($48.5K), plus 3 round-trip economy air travel tickets; undergraduate college-age children get 2 round-trip economy air travel tickets; In Kingdom Assistance: 2x monthly base salary or the company max ($16.3K).
- Settling in Allowance: One-time payment; Family Status - 100% of monthly base salary; Single/Bachelor Status - 60% of monthly base salary.
