Job Summary:

ENGIE, a global leader in low-carbon energy and services, is seeking a highly skilled Security Coordinator to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our employees, assets, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the implementation of security strategies and protocols to mitigate risks and threats to people, information, and tangible property.
  • Collaborate with security managers and governance teams to analyze regional security dynamics and prevent potential risks and threats.
  • Ensure the effective enforcement of security plans and protocols at local construction sites and ENGIE facilities.
  • Implement security protocols for expatriates and foreign visitors, ensuring they receive comprehensive security induction training.
  • Monitor and maintain access control systems, CCTV, and alarms to ensure complete visibility and analytical capability.
  • Report security incidents and risks in a timely manner, facilitating their management and resolution.
  • Provide security training and awareness programs to ENGIE members, promoting a culture of security and risk mitigation.
  • Liaise with local security authorities to facilitate emergency management and response.
  • Offer security assistance to ENGIE members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in social sciences (political science, international relations, intelligence, or criminalistics) or comparable military training.
  • Proficiency in English (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Knowledge of critical infrastructure protection and technical expertise in CCTV systems.
  • Certifications in asset security management (CPP or equivalent) are desirable.
  • At least 3 years of verifiable experience in equivalent positions or 8 years of experience in security activities or military service.
