As Supply Chain Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for transforming our current reality of disparate accounting and finance operations teams, technology, and processes into an end-state operating model.

This role involves partnering with Controlling Transformation Leads to resolve non-compliant Accounts Payable (AP) and Supply Chain Finance (SCF) processes, aligning AP and SCF process & activity calendars, and strengthening compliance to AP and Make to Deliver (MTD) specific finance controls.

You will lead a team accountable for documenting end-to-end AP & SCF processes in detail, covering current & new ways of working and specific & step-by-step details on control compliance requirements.

The successful candidate will design Finance processes and Data models for AP and SCF processes that fit the needs of the business, bringing in design thinking and process re-engineering skills to drive digital transformation in Finance.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Partnering Controlling Transformation Lead of each business vertical in resolving non-compliant AP & SCF processes, aligning AP and SCF process & activity calendar that compliments Day 1 month end close, strengthening compliance to AP and Make to Deliver (MTD) specific finance controls in current state while transforming to end state.
  2. Design and deploy the end-state capabilities for AP and SCF processes on common core technology (Microsoft D365 ERP) and on relevant Key Financial and Accounting Systems (KFAS) thereby establishing and aligning common process standards across H&W that suits to the end-state finance operating model.
  3. Lead a team accountable to document end-to-end AP & SCF processes in detail, covering current & new ways of working and specific & step-by-step details on control compliance requirements.
  4. Lead the scoping exercise to finalize the list of AP and SCF activities that are in scope for Finance Operations collective organization to operate and manage the transition from individual OpCo through effective governance resulting in no / least business disruption.

What You Will Need To Succeed:

  • Financial Accounting and operations expertise.
  • Knowledge of Unilever financial process, standards and organization.
  • Strong and diverse business partner background with high competence in storytelling, influencing and negotiating.
  • Standards of Leadership: Passion for High Performance, Business Acumen and Talent Catalyst.
  • Expertise on Controls, compliance, and risk management across multiple business functions and areas of financial statements.
  • Financial and technical business integrations.
  • Operating outside SAP platform and 3 tier model with less mature systems and operations.
  • Existing knowledge and networks of Unilever.

Estimated Salary Range:$120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
