About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts; paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances; verifying the accuracy of business accounts; preparing monthly sales tax returns; reviewing balance sheet accounts; and preparing multiple bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
- Process financial transactions in QuickBooks Desktop or Online.
- Pay vendor invoices and manage cash flow.
- Verify the accuracy of financial records and report any discrepancies.
- Prepare sales tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- 6+ months or 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
