**Job Summary**:
As a Production Supervisor I at American Standard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. You will be responsible for coordinating with production line collaborators, supervising material resources, and ensuring that procedures and work instructions are followed to guarantee product conformity and employee safety.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate with production line collaborators to ensure efficient production processes
- Supervise material resources to ensure compliance with production programs
- Ensure that procedures and work instructions are followed to guarantee product conformity and employee safety
- Organize human and material resources to meet production program requirements
- Supervise the condition of tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure that production line personnel are aware of control plans and follow them to guarantee product quality
- Prepare reports on rejected and non-conforming products, detailing causes and analyzing them
- Review daily spoilage and decide on containment actions when necessary
- Inform the Production Coordinator of any issues affecting operations
- Check that records required by the Quality and Safety Management System are kept
- Supervise and advise SMART TEAM teams
- Verify that personnel under your charge are competent to perform assigned operations and certified
- Check that staff under your charge complies with assigned training programs
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment to ensure continuity of operations
- Manage incidents and overtime of operational staff and report to HR
**Requirements:**
- Preferred Education: Industrial Engineering or similar
- Experience: 1 year in supervisor position
- Administrative Skills: Personal Administration, Quality Systems, HOE's EHS System
- Soft Skills: Integrity, Responsibility, Collaboration
