Position Overview:

The Loan Associate will support the US-based loan processors in managing a variety of tasks essential for maintaining efficient loan processing operations. This entry to mid-level position is designed for candidates with little to no experience in the mortgage business but who have a background in accounting, finance, IT, or engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in ordering appraisals and registering loans with lenders.
• Ensure complete loan files by following established checklists.
• Calculate income based on provided documentation checklists.
• Communicate with various parties via email to maintain the flow of information.
• Support in managing data across different systems like Salesforce, Airtable, and Notion.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support loan processing activities.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge or experience in accounting, finance, IT, or engineering.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
• Proficiency in using G-suite and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to manage tasks across multiple tech systems and work with urgency.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Industry experience in mortgage, underwriting, or accounting/finance.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Airtable, Notion, or loan origination/lender portals.
