As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining the technical vision for our products, managing the team backlog, reviewing code, and coaching younger team members.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement complex, distributed systems using Golang and Python
- Lead a high-performance software engineering team, hiring and mentoring engineers to achieve project goals
- Collaborate with product management to define technical requirements and product roadmaps
- Work with upstream open source projects and internal teams to deliver high-quality software
- Ensure software design, performance, and security meet industry standards
- Participate in hackfest events, webinars, and conferences to contribute to open source communities
- Proven experience hiring and leading a high-performance software engineering team
- Expertise in Golang and Python software development
- Ability to design and implement complex, distributed systems
- Experience working with container technology and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of software/infrastructure security and performance
- Experience designing and/or operating large-scale distributed systems
