Job Title: Assembly Line Engineer - Process Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assembly Line Engineer to join our team in Monterrey, Mexico.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process planning, fixture design, tooling, and gauges. They will also be well-versed in CAD software such as Catia, 3D Experience, Team Center, and AutoCAD.

About the Role

This role involves preparing status reports and effectively communicating with peers, designers, project teams, and quality teams. The successful candidate will be a quick learner, able to document processes and procedures.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent spoken English.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in assembly line engineering, preferably with degree certification.
  • Expertise in process documentation, including RFQs, process sheet development, and modification.
  • Familiarity with new technologies and trends in the industry.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in assembly line engineering, preferably with degree certification.
  • Well-versed in process planning, fixture design, tooling, and gauges.
  • Expertise in CAD software such as Catia, 3D Experience, Team Center, and AutoCAD.
  • Skilled in process documentation, including RFQs, process sheet development, and modification.
  • Exposure to DCP documents like PFMEA, Control Plans, and other related areas.
  • Familiarity with new technologies and trends in the industry.
  • Knowledge of torque tools for assembly line selection and logistics, including line-side storage and packaging standards.
  • Good exposure in installation and commissioning of EFTGs and problem-solving techniques.
  • Station layout preparation and stage-by-stage process planning.
  • Benchmarking tools and techniques, as well as special knowledge of power tools, transportation systems, and small tools.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary between $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
