Job Purpose:
The Corporate Supplier Quality Manager will lead and manage Dawn's approved supplier program and supplier quality relationships, ensuring compliance with GFSI and FSMA regulations. This role will drive the Dawn organization's quality agenda by inspiring a food safety and quality culture among suppliers.
This is a remote position with up to 75% travel required, offering flexibility and autonomy in your work. As a key member of our Food Safety and Quality department, you will be responsible for:
- Serving as point of contact for supplier-related quality issues
- Developing and executing supplier quality approval and performance monitoring
- Ensuring suppliers comply with Dawn requirements and documentation
- Partnering with stakeholders to ensure quality attributes are identified and proper documentation received
- Maintaining ongoing performance reviews with co-manufacturers and raw material suppliers
- Establishing and monitoring raw material supplier quality metrics
- Providing leadership in developing and executing improvement plans
- Supporting manufacturing plants with supplier-related concerns
- Coordinating audits of Vendor Assurance programs
- Calibrating supplier auditors to ensure consistent results
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in management or supervisory roles in food manufacturing operations, distribution, and supplier management
- Proven ability to lead and facilitate in a team environment and build consensus with team members and customers
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
