About the Role
We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team at Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. De R.L. De C.V. As an SDET, you will play a critical role in designing and building test tools and processes to ensure the quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities
As a QA SDET, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing test automation frameworks and tools
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Program Managers and Development Engineers, to provide testing support and create automation
- Troubleshooting issues and contributing ideas to improve the customer experience of our products
- Contributing to improvements in our processes, efficiency, and accuracy
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience developing automation in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, or Ruby
- Strong knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
- Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an SDET role
About the Team
You will be working closely with our teams in Mexico City, collaborating with Program Managers, and Development Engineers on the ASIC, Hardware, Mobile Development, Embedded Software, and Cloud teams.
