Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute SEO strategy, optimizing website content, metadata, and internal linking to improve search engine rankings.
  • Implement SEO best practices for product pages, blog posts, landing pages, and other website content.
  • Source and create outreach lists, identify guest post and link insertion candidates, and find contact information.
  • Perform regular website audits to identify technical SEO issues and ensure site health.
  • Work closely with the web development team to address and fix technical issues such as site speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawl errors.
  • Optimize website structure and schema markup to ensure visibility in shopping snippets.
  • Track and report on key SEO metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to monitor SEO performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithms, and current trends.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Surfer, etc.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to handle constructive feedback and radical transparency.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with a proactive approach to learning and staying current with industry changes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with the coffee industry or a passion for coffee.
  • Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.
  • Understanding of content marketing and its role in SEO.
