We are building a cutting-edge autonomous vehicle system that requires a talented Principal ML/Deep Learning Engineer to lead the technical strategy for our deep learning stack.

You will work with a highly motivated engineering team and a leadership that is laser focused on a product.

The role involves devising solutions and designing neural networks for perception that run online on our autonomous vehicle, providing technical and theoretical guidance to the deep learning team, and communicating and distilling evaluations and results to the leadership.

Key responsibilities include designing/improving our key deep learning tools, leading cross-functional efforts with respect to interfacing with other autonomy consumers and upstream/downstream components, and collaborating with the team to drive innovation and excellence.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor/Master in CS or equivalent, three years of engineering experience in deep learning oriented teams, and mastery of modern DL and python-related frameworks.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills for leadership and stakeholders, be able to design ML models from scratch, and have a strong understanding of DL state of the art, practices, and recent research.
