Principal Operations Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Technician to join our team at Johnson & Johnson. As an Operations Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex equipment, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and providing technical support to manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair equipment, including setup and documentation
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing teams for timely repair of equipment and machinery
  • Perform corrective and emergency nonplanned maintenance activities according to approved methods and documentation
  • Participate in the transfer of new production lines
  • Provide recommendations and technical support in new projects and OAC
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Environment Management Systems (EMS) responsibilities
  • Manage the CMMS MAXIMO maintenance system for Juarez, including maintenance planning tasks
  • Provide support in the resolution of problems related to the execution of work orders process for maintenance within the CMMS or MAXIMO system
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Ensure subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices

Requirements:

  • Technical career or equivalent, applicable to: Mechanics, Electric, Electro-mechanics, Electronics, Metrology, instrumentalist
  • Between 05 to 10 years of experience related to the position, preferably
  • Knowledge and skills to satisfactorily develop the responsibilities of the position
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry
  • Wide knowledge of computer packages
  • Bilingual, Spanish/English, preferably
  • Knowledge of the Campus Systems, preferably
  • Knowledge of Maximo System (Computerized System for the Management of Maintenance), preferably
  • Knowledge of the GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)/ISO, preferably
