At The Sherwin-Williams Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for handling high-volume transactional financial activities and tasks within the region, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness. The Senior Financial Analyst will also perform leadership activities within their team and serve as the initial point of escalation for issues related to internal and external customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing transactional processes accurately and timely within the assigned team
- Reviewing activity in construction in process accounts
- Capitalizing fixed asset items according to company policy
- Preparing standard recurring journal entries
- Preparing bank and account reconciliations, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
- Answering basic day-to-day questions from Analysts and Jr. Analysts
- Helping to teach these tasks to new members of the team
- Researching more complex issues related to the tasks above
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with financial software. They will also possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred qualifications include:
- 4-6 years of experience in relevant finance activities
- Advanced English language skills
- Knowledge of S-W systems, including OneStream, Oracle, and OnBase
Technical requirements include:
- Aptitude with various financial software
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
