Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Molding Specialist to join our Manufacturing Operations Team in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua. This role is responsible for defining technical requirements and design characteristics for plastic injection molds.
Key Responsibilities
- Mold Design and Development: Defines technical requirements and design characteristics for plastic injection molds.
- Design Evaluation: Leads the design evaluation in new product introduction and mold replacement.
- Mold Validation: Defines methods for validating new molds and supervises mechanical inspection of incoming molds.
- Troubleshooting: Provides troubleshooting support with existing molds to Molding Process Engineers.
- Preventive Maintenance: In coordination with the Tool Room Supervisor, defines the frequency of preventive maintenance for new molds.
Requirements
- Education: Career in Engineering (preferred)
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Languages: Bilingual
- Knowledge: Knowledge in metals for mold construction, extensive experience designing plastic injection molds, and experience in mold validations.
