Job Summary

We are seeking an Accounting Intern to support our Shared Services Center in Mexico. As an Accounting Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about administrative and accounting tasks in a global team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process Accounts Payable Vendor Invoices with different currencies
  2. Analyze and resolve Accounts Payable invoice problems
  3. Reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable balances, including Intercompany transactions
  4. Collect payments from customers
  5. Run Reports of Past Due Customers/Vendors
  6. Create third-party customer invoices, credit memos, and customer statements
  7. Verify and apply customer payments
  8. Assist in Accounting month-end close process
  9. Maintain excellent relationships with third-party customers and with our ZF operating units

Requirements

  1. Current student in Accounting, Business Administration degree, or other related fields
  2. Strong computer, analytical problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  3. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  4. Proficient in MS Office and SAP system
  5. Preferred with 50-70% Bilingual English/Spanish
