Network Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team at PepsiCo. As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a three-year plan for the Network Optimization Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide network optimization and capability needs for strategic business and budget planning.
• Develop heat-maps and optimization plans for data center networks, campus networks, and all WAN, LAN, and WLAN connectivity.
• Provide an effective network capacity planning framework in partnership with Capacity Management.
• Partner with Application teams to drive standards for optimal network performance.
• Provide tier 3 operational support for critical business issues that require deep network performance analysis.
• Produce architecture and engineering specifications and design documents.
• Lead the Engineering direction and design issues as well as influence peers, cross-functional partners, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of working in a Computer Network/Telecommunications role.
• CISCO certification desirable.
• Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent.
• Experience of working in a multi-cultural, virtual team across geographical regions.
• Ability to coordinate and direct activities across multiple teams.
• Commercial and business experience an advantage.
• Service and Operations Management experience.
• Excellence in execution through proper prioritization of projects and initiatives.
• Excellent customer focus and engagement skills.
• Ability to develop solutions within a complex operational environment.
• Strong project management skills and experience of coordinating multiple, simultaneous complex tasks.
