About the Role
This position is responsible for attending worldwide new installation projects for industrial gas turbines.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on commissioning of instrumentation and control system components for industrial gas turbine and auxiliaries' systems.
- Troubleshooting and commissioning of industrial gas turbines (small and medium gas turbines) at new installation projects.
- Review and execute scope according to Siemens Energy contract requirements.
- Closely collaborate and communicate with the Siemens Energy project team and submit detailed reports on a daily basis.
- Ensure adherence to Siemens Energy procedures during industrial gas turbine commissioning.
- Coordinate with Siemens Energy engineering to resolve equipment operation issues.
- Manage safety culture and adhere to Siemens Energy's Zero Harm Culture Driving initiative.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic, Control, and Mechatronic Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in commissioning and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems in power plants.
- Self-driven with the ability to make decisions with minimal guidance.
- Adaptability and flexibility in an environment with changing requirements and priorities.
- Teamwork, results-oriented, and risk management skills.
- Willingness to travel 80%+ for domestic and international assignments.
- Proficient English language skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office applications).
