As a Materials Control Leader at Emerson, you will be responsible for coordinating activities related to the department for the transition project. This includes reviewing information in the system and ensuring its proper updating, managing pilot tests, procuring required materials, collaborating with other departments to achieve activities, working with customer service to follow up on commitments, coordinating shipments to clients, defining work priorities, and following up on area metrics.
**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a B.S. in Industrial Engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience handling a team in a maintenance area. You should be efficient in the use of computer software, with high proficiency in Excel and MRP software (Oracle is highly desirable). Additionally, you should have experience in material procurement, shipping, and customer service, as well as excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, and leadership skills.
