Autoliv Mexico is seeking a highly skilled Production Operations Manager to lead our production manufacturing area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, directing and coordinating activities of production department(s), and reviewing production orders or schedules to plan department operations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
- Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.
- Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
- Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of automotive experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a similar position. You should possess a detailed understanding of customer requirements, strong communication skills, and be a self-starter and goal-oriented team player. Bilingual English and Spanish skills are also required.
