As a Taxation Expert at Bridgestone Mexico, you will be part of over 140,000 collaborators focused on offering advanced mobility solutions. We strive to be leaders in this field.

The ideal candidate will have min 3-5 years experience in sales and use tax compliance in a large multinational corporation or public accounting firm. A CPA certificate and MST or MBA are preferred. Intermediate-advanced level of English is required.

Key responsibilities include leading or supporting projects to deliver tax or business objectives, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and conducting monthly and quarterly close activities. You will also prepare state and local income and franchise tax returns, perform special tax research projects, and support internal and external audit.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support projects to deliver tax or business objectives.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, including quarterly estimates and amended tax return filings.
  • Support tax accounting by conducting monthly and quarterly close activities.
  • Prepare state and local income and franchise tax returns.
  • Perform special tax research projects, such as understanding tax law changes and business operations.
  • Team with Tax Risk COE to clarify tax positions and prepare responses to audit information requests.
  • Understand and comply with JSOX regulations, internal controls, and tax policies.
  • Support internal and external audit.

Requirements:

  • Min 3-5 years sales and use tax compliance experience in a large multinational corporation or public accounting firm.
  • Finance required.
  • CPA certificate preferred.
  • MST or MBA preferred.
  • Intermediate-advanced level of English.
  • Other: transfer pricing, APA knowledge, and annual review.
