Closures Design and Release Engineer

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design and develop parts to meet corporate and local requirements for parts validation
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design improvements and cost optimization
* Develop and maintain engineering prototypes and test plans
* Release parts in AVBOM and WERS through the product life cycle
* Support change control meetings and audit BOMs
* Identify and implement validation, durability, and functional test requirements
* Leverage AIMS root cause analysis and permanent actions implementation
**Requirements:**
* BS or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science
* Minimum of 3 years' prior experience in Closures
* Broad exposure to various material types
* Ability to work in a fluid environment with changing targets and requirements
* Effective oral and written communication skills
* 8D and 5Why corrective action and problem-solving skills
* Experience with Catia V5 required; 3DX/Catia V6 and TeamCenter a plus
