We are seeking a highly skilled Software Security Access Control Specialist to join our Identity and Access Governance Team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing software applications, identifying security gaps, and providing recommendations for robust access control implementations.

About the Role
  • Partner with business and software teams to identify applications used within the organization and determine the level of risk each poses to our business or intellectual property.
  • Analyze each application's purpose, user base, features, and access control mechanisms to ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Perform risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities in application access and implement improvements.
  • Bring awareness and educate the software development community about RBAC, access control best practices, and Zero Trust concepts.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends in the RBAC and IAM space.
  • Conduct regular audits of application access controls and usage to ensure compliance with security policies.
About You
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional work experience in either the IAM or the Software Development space.
  • You possess strong programming experience, knowledge of authorization and authentication techniques, as well as directory services.
  • You have a solid grasp of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Role-based Access Control (RBAC) concepts.
  • You have superb attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Excel and skilled at bulk data manipulation.
  • You are collaborative and inclusive with a positive demeanor, well-suited for working across geographical organizations.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 based on location and experience. Micron offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
