The System Support DP Field Service Engineer role involves providing technical support and maintenance services for Dynamic Positioning systems at Kongsberg Maritime. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits
- Conducting commissioning and service activities for assigned Field Service product range
- Supplying hardware and software support during on-call assignments
- Attending critical assembly tests (CATs), dry-docking, and sea trials
- Reporting errors or defects on equipment delivered from KM and suggesting improvement actions
- Collaborating with Sales, After-sales, Customer Support, and System Support teams
