Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our Human Resources Technology Services team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by analyzing and improving our business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document business requirements aligned with company goals.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Develop process maps detailing data flows and business logic.
  • Lead engaging requirements gathering sessions to ensure all business needs are understood.
  • Transform complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
  • Design and execute robust test plans for system integrations.
  • Identify and document process improvements to boost efficiency.
  • Manage project timelines and deliver regular status updates.
  • Investigate and resolve integration challenges, partnering with technical teams to implement solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven track record as an Analyst in software development or system integration.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • Expertise in requirements gathering techniques and documentation tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management software.
  • Ability to grasp and document complex business processes and technical systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and capacity to juggle multiple projects.
  • Understanding of integration concepts, including APIs, authentication, and data mapping.
  • Experience designing and executing integration tests.
