As a Process Control Systems Engineer, you will contribute to the development and execution of projects for chemical manufacturing facilities. Your responsibilities will include leading small project teams, preparing estimates, scopes, specifications, and design deliverables, and evaluating all process control aspects of engineering to ensure project objectives are met.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university with a strong interest in process control systems.
- 4 years of experience with chemical facilities in I&E or PCT design and engineering or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of field instrumentation and low/medium voltage electrical systems used in industrial processes.
- Strong computer hardware and software skills.
- Knowledge of safety systems.
- Knowledge of relevant national international standards in the area of process control, low voltage electrical and instrumentation.
- Systematic approach to problem definition and solution development.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to deal with various engineering, maintenance, and operations and suppliers of PCT material and services.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in order to communicate with and obtain cooperation from team members involved with engineering, design, check out, commissioning and startup.
- Experience with Intergraph Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools).
