About the Role

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team as a Data Owner Change Management lead. In this role, you will be responsible for driving execution for key aspects of the Citi Data Governance Policy.

As a Data Governance Specialist, you will partner with businesses and technology teams to maintain and improve communication, follow up, and assistance into agreements with other areas of the Bank. You will require strong analytical skills to filter, prioritize, and validate complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defines strategies to drive data quality measurement, produce data quality dashboards and reports.
  • Designs/analyzes moderately complex reports to satisfy management requirements.
  • Uses broad discretion in developing solutions for business reporting issues.
  • Influences decisions through advice, counsel, and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization.
  • Responsible for own work to support business teams in assigned area.
  • Utilizes communication and diplomacy skills are required.
  • Maintains and provides follow up to actions and activities agreed with other areas of the Bank, with main focus on reporting to Senior Management, but also with other sponsors.
  • Maintains and helps create communication material to inform the status of initiatives and day to day activities of Data Owners team, helping maintain a efficient communication of commitments and achievements.
  • Interact with business and technical staff who support the Global Functions, ensuring the data quality scorecards are measuring fit for purpose data.
  • Performs other job duties and functions as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Experience with efficient communication methods and tools (Such as PowerPoint or similar tools).
  • Problem Solving - Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple methods.

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
