Job Title: ELS Manager

Avery Dennison Smartrac is seeking a highly skilled ELS Manager to join our team. As an ELS Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Global ELS Strategy, driving continuous improvement across our sites and business functions, and fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Global ELS Strategy, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead and oversee the Mexico ELS strategy, identifying and driving continuous improvement within ADS sites and business functions.
  • Identify and prioritize projects to eliminate non-value-added activities and create value for our customers.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and remove organizational barriers for continuous improvement processes.
  • Drive site's flow process improvement, process standardization, and sharing of best practices.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of current processes to identify areas of improvement and track progress.
  • Accountable for sustainable results, regularly reviewing and analyzing performance data to identify trends and areas of further improvement.
  • Manage budget for operational excellence projects and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and consultants as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Black Belt or Master Black Belt certified in Lean Six Sigma.
  • 5 years of experience in Lean Six Sigma, with a proven track record of leading successful operational excellence initiatives.
  • Proven communication and coordination skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Solid understanding of business issues, metrics, and customer values.
  • High passion for excellence and strong execution for action.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics in a concise manner.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with people at various levels and functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively drive change.
  • Strong analysis capability and statistical background.
  • Finance knowledge of manufacturing cost structure.
  • Basic Auto-CAD knowledge.
  • Minitab proficiency.
  • Effective English written and oral skills.
