About the Role
This Electronics Manufacturing Specialist role at CommScope Inc. involves assembling and integrating electronic hardware, performing component prep and soldering of various wire/cable assemblies, as well as microscopic hand soldering and assembling of electronic modules according to written instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical/mechanical assembly and integration of electronic hardware.
- Prepare components for assembly and perform soldering tasks, including wire/cable assemblies, through-hole components, and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components.
- Assemble electronic modules using microscopic hand soldering techniques and follow written instructions.
- Conduct multiple manual assembly tasks and collaborate with engineering personnel to provide feedback on prototype assemblies.
- Maintain accurate records of part stock levels and requisition components as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in electronics manufacturing.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and high precision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with engineering prototype units and production assembly processes.
