**Job Summary:**

This position involves assisting project managers on large, complex projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting project managers not located at manufacturing plants
  • Coordinating the successful execution of low-risk projects
  • Managing project schedules and supporting revenue forecasting
  • Conducting regular project status meetings with key stakeholders as required

**Key Responsibilities:**

Help plan and host factory visits/meetings with customers

Provide support to coordinate witness tests and customer inspections at the factory

Assist project managers to create, organize, and submit custom documentation

Provide accurate information regarding manufacturing progress by attending meetings with production and visually inspecting equipment

Assist project managers to process and implement change orders and resolve material shortages

Coordinate with engineering, PM, or customer to ensure special requirements are implemented per specifications (e.g., special labeling, shipping instructions, etc.)

Support PM to follow up and coordinate ship-less and miscellaneous item shipments

Manage critical delivery improvement requests for non-PM'd orders

Proactively identify and resolve ship holds and clerical issues preventing orders from shipping

Provide backup support to project managers as needed

Follow up with logistics coordinators for dropship item tracking information/ETA site and POD

Support the PMO Manager

Applicable business metrics include:

  • On-time performance of all project milestones
  • Change order revenue
  • Project margin
  • Shipment forecast
  • Customer experience

**Requirements:**

4-year degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Engineering, Operations, or Project Management preferred; however, 6 or more years of related ETO experience acceptable

Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software tools

Project Management Professional (PMP) or willingness to become certified

English Proficient (written and conversation)

**Desired Qualifications:**

2+ years of customer-related experience in a project-oriented environment

Previous industrial controls experience

Experience with Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) Motor Control Centers

Lean Six Sigma background (yellow belt, green belt, black belt)
