Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team at UST. As a key member of our Production Support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that requests for support are properly logged and resolved as per the Service Level Agreements, according to agreed standards and procedures.
- Identify and report opportunities to improve efficiency and quality (e.g. repeatable processes that can be automated).
- Learn business domain and system domain; individually and as recommended by the project/account.
- Attain technical knowledge for troubleshooting/resolving any reported production issues.
- Set FAST goals and seek feedback to FAST goals.
Requirements
- At least 3-4 years of professional support experience (i.e. troubleshooting, analysis and help finding RCA).
- RDBMS SQL.
- Linux.
- JIRA knowledge.
- Basic API knowledge.
- Application monitoring and alerting.
- Monitor Infra- DB transaction spike- Application load- Check and Verify logs.
- Oracle, SQL (Able to understand mid complex queries).
- CI/CD pipeline - good to have L1 support with client, business SRE - for production support 70% and 30% automation.
