Adient is a global leader in automotive seating, with 70,000+ employees in 29 countries. We operate over 200 manufacturing/assembly plants worldwide, producing and delivering automotive seating for all major OEMs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain raw material inventory levels within established limits, ensuring accurate tracking and FIFO management.
  • Supplier Coordination: Review demand forecasts, coordinate sending of requirements to suppliers, and review their authorizations.
  • Communication: Maintain communication with quality, finance, and engineering purchasing departments to ensure smooth input and output of models and/or engineering changes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement within the department's activities, focusing on process efficiency and quality enhancements.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in expediting and programming, with 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of inventory management, materials control, supplier management, strategic planning, purchasing process, business techniques, and management of indicators.
  • Language: Fluent English language skills (90%).
Working Conditions

This position is based at Adient Juarez 3. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting specific customer requirements and complying with industry standards, such as IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
