About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Strategist to join our team at Newell Brands. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our global supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure effective communication across departments.
- Collaborate with manufacturing facilities to discuss and revise production plans, identifying potential risks and opportunities for growth.
- Analyze supply chain metrics to drive data-driven decision-making and operational enhancements.
- Forecast and monitor 3PL inventory occupation, identifying opportunities to improve storage usage.
- Issue POs, follow up, and monitor import processes and lead times to avoid product shortages, assuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, or related Analytical discipline.
- MBA or equivalent in Supply Chain or related fields – preferred.
- 10+ years of supply chain work experience for durable or professional products company with a focus on global operations.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Exposure to international companies.
- SAP-APO or SAP-IBP experience will be considered a plus.
