Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain our email platform. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines and workflows that support our marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows for marketing data and metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data metric requirements and design data frameworks
- Design and develop automation data frameworks to improve data quality and efficiency
- Perform data quality checks, analysis, and presentation to stakeholders
- Collaborate with data scientists to develop scalable architecture and deploy models
- Advise leaders on standard processes around data usage and product development
Requirements
- Proficiency in orchestration software like Apache Airflow and dbt
- Experience with AWS technologies like ECS, Aurora, Lambda, S3, and Sagemaker
- Proficiency in foundational data warehousing concepts and data modeling
- Ability to recommend when to use and implement relational, document, or graph type databases
- Experience using Snowflake and similar centralized data platforms
- Full proficiency of data engineering concepts, database designs, associated tools, system components, internal processes, and architecture
- Experience working as a technical lead/solution architect in a stakeholder-focused team
- Experience working closely with Analytics/Data Science teams
Desired Skills
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau
- Proficiency with SQL, Bash, and Python scripting
- Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams
