R&D Analyst Jr

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented R&D Analyst Jr to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our R&D team, you will play a critical role in supporting formula development and validation at the benchtop level for beverages.
Key Responsibilities- Support formula development and validation at the benchtop level for beverages, requiring coordination with Product Development teams and cross-functional R&D partners.
- Provide support for innovation, Technical Brand Stewardship (TBS), and Productivity projects for LATAM beverages.
- Meet success criteria assigned to each project, including metrics on time, quality, and performance.
- Maintain laboratory facilities, raw materials, and laboratory supplies inventories up to date.
- Generate purchase orders in SAP and follow up on their status.
- Assist with laboratory site management activities, maintenance, and calibration of analytical equipment.
- Maintain a safe environment and align with Laboratory Safety policies.
- Support new material/supplier qualification process following PepsiCo protocols.
- Perform physical and chemical analysis of samples and collect information on commercial products.
- Support site management, including bench and wet lab operations, procurement of lab supplies, and maintenance and calibration of measurement equipment.
- Provide technical support to operate and coordinate maintenance of the pilot pasteurization unit.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Food Science, Food Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Basic Project Management skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and flexibility in responding to different cultures.
- Result-oriented and able to balance competing priorities without losing momentum and managing uncertainties.
- Self-starter and proactive.
